Chamber Member Offer: Complimentary IT Health Check from ILS IT Advisory Services

Chamber members are being offered a complimentary Quick IT Health Check from ILS IT Advisory Services, providing an opportunity to gain an independent assessment of their current IT governance, security and compliance readiness.

Many businesses only take a close look at their IT governance arrangements when questions arise from banks, investors, auditors or major clients. Requests for security documentation, vendor questionnaires and due diligence reviews can highlight gaps in processes, oversight or documentation that may not have been previously identified.

ILS IT Advisory Services was established to help businesses address those challenges before they become urgent issues.

Led by Tony Pacheco, who brings more than 31 years of Cayman Islands IT experience, ILS provides independent IT governance, oversight and compliance advisory services for businesses ranging from small owner-managed companies to larger and regulated organisations. Rather than replacing an existing IT provider, the firm works alongside internal IT teams and managed service providers, focusing on strategy, vendor accountability, budget discipline, compliance readiness and clear reporting for business owners and boards.

“Many businesses only think about IT governance the day someone asks them to prove it,” said Pacheco. “A bank requests security documentation, an investor’s due diligence lands, or a client sends a vendor security questionnaire. That’s often when organisations discover they need greater visibility into their systems, processes and responsibilities.”

For smaller businesses, this can mean helping owners establish practical governance processes and technology oversight suited to their operations. For larger organisations, ILS can provide senior-level IT leadership and accountability without the cost of employing a full-time IT Director.

As part of this Chamber member offer, businesses can request a complimentary Quick IT Health Check. The review includes a short assessment of a company’s current position and provides practical, plain-English feedback on what appears to be working well, where potential risks may exist, and which areas should be prioritised.

“There is no cost and no obligation,” added Pacheco. “If the honest answer is that a business is fine as it is, that is what it will be told.”
