You’ve Got the Job — Now What? Navigating the Modern Workplace

Stepping into a new role — whether it’s a first step into a career, a move to a new organisation, or a transition into greater responsibility — brings fresh opportunities and new expectations. Today’s Cayman workplace is fast‑evolving, multicultural, and highly relationship‑driven, and knowing how to navigate it can make all the difference.

This practical, future‑focused workshop explores the real‑world skills needed to thrive beyond the job offer. Through her signature blend of psychology‑based insight and coaching practice, Lorna Murphy helps participants understand workplace culture, strengthen communication, build credibility, and handle the pressures and priorities that define modern professional life. Her approach draws on emotional intelligence, self‑awareness, and people‑centred development techniques seen across her leadership and coaching programmes.

You’ll learn how to adapt to different working styles, manage feedback constructively, communicate with clarity, and respond confidently to the difficult moments that naturally arise in busy teams. Whether you’re new to a role or stepping into a fresh chapter, this session offers practical tools to build resilience, demonstrate professionalism, and contribute meaningfully from day one.
